The company is primarily engaged in the manufacture of plastic products. In addition, its production process consists of the extrusion and weaving of plastic net derived from harmless, non pollutant materials which are 100 percent recyclable. The company is recognized as the leading company in the production of extruded and woven plastic meshes. It has a registered business address located in Llinars Del Valles, Spain. The company was established in 1957 and started as an injection workshop. It was founded by Josep Mas Jordà that set up the factory in Cardedeu (Vallés Oriental, Barcelona). In 1986, the company works in collaboration with Linpac Plastics for the improvement of the company's internal systems, and quality. The company has acquired Celloplast, the leading distributor of garden and agriculture products in the French market. It is active in all five continents and is serving their customers in more than 50 countries. Further, the company has business operations in Mexico and United States of America represented by its subsidiaries namely, Intermas Mexico SA De CV, and Intermas USA Inc.
